i didn't think i took any before pictures of the fence, but i found some! as you can see, it's old and was pretty easy to knock over. it really needed to be re-done.
the kids thought "destroying" the old fence was the best part.
so after they tore the fence down, they started putting the new one up right away. this was one of the many projects on our list to get our house ready to sell.
van absolutely loves doing projects with freddy. he was by his side the whole time, carrying wood, bringing him tools, and being his little helper. they worked on it every day after work, turned up the music and didn't come in til it got dark.
one thing that i love about my man is that he isn't afraid to get his hands dirty and will tackle any project. he would rather do a job himself than pay somebody, and if he doesn't know how to do it he'll research it until he finds out. i love that van is learning so much about hard work from him and they always have fun while they're working.
jasmine was content to just read while they worked, and my job was to keep them fed and hydrated:)
jasmine got roped into helping with the clean up, and the finished product looked awesome! he did an amazing job with his first attempt at putting up a fence.good job team sanders!

Your fence does look great! Hard to believe that Freddy hasn't done that before. Too cute that Van likes to help out. His wife will thank y'all one day for that!!
